The hits just keep on coming! Another one of my designs is up for voting to become printed a genuine t-shirt! This time around it's for a cool website called Designs By Humans. Same as before, if I get enough votes (whatever that amount that is...) my design; Greased Lizard will become cemented in the t-shirt history books! However, this shirt will be on sale forever and not just one day like my previous design for RIPT Apparel. So please go sign up for a FREE account and then vote for me and leave nice comments! Hey there kools n' kittens. Place your eye balls squarely on the latest from my mini animal prints. Dig this jive talkin', way out there croc-o-dile. This one is a real gasser and has been dubbed Greased Lizard.
And last but not least... my final entry into the 3G Show at Gallery 1988. Gremlins! When making this one I came to the realization that oatmeal is gross looking. Just look at it! I think my favorite part is the step by step directions on the side of the box.
If you happen to be LA in September, go check out the show. It opens September 3rd at 7pm. Go to the Gallery 1988 website for more info.
I submitted my Prehistoric Rock design to a really cool 'One T-shirt a Day' website called Ript Apparel recently and it will actually be going up for sale! Here's the dirt... It will be on sale for one day only and then it will be extinct (going with the dinosaur theme here) forever! It will go on sale this Thursday, August 19th at 12:00am CST and will run through the entire day until 11:59pm. It only costs 10 huge dollars and $2.50 for shipping! So mark your calendars, iPhones, Blackberrys, alarm clock, Google calendars, smoke signals, spotlights, whatever you have to do to remember that it goes on sale this Thursday and then it's extinct forever! And tell everyone you know! So go post of your Facebook and Twitter thingies and whatever other cool social networking thing I've prolly never heard of to get the word out.
Just wanted to let you guys know I have 2 shows coming up...
First up is my absolute favorite show of the year... Baltimore Comic Con! This will be my 4th time doing the show and it gets better every time. I will be in artist's alley and I will be selling all kinds of new prints, doing free sketches, and taking commissions! You can even preorder one and pick it up at the show, just head on over to my online shop and go to the commissions section for more info. Here's the low down on the cons... Saturday and Sunday, August 28-29 Baltimore Convention Center One West Pratt Street Baltimore, Maryland 21201 (SHARP STREET ENTRANCE) Directions Tickets
Here is the 2nd of my new series of Mini Animal prints. This one is called Rat Race. The reasoning behind the title is fairly obvious... It's my version of one of them new hip big city yuppies with his skinny tie, Bluetooth headset (so you can't tell if he's talking to you, someone on the other line, or just rambling on to no one in particular...), his freshly made caramel macchiato and thinking about buying and selling fancy cheeses all before I've had my Captain Crunch for breakfast! What a dirty rat...
Thanks to a good friend i made one minor but important change. I flipped the 'stock exchange' arrow to read left to right, it makes much more sense since we read left to right too. thanks buddy.
Here is the 2nd of 3 pieces for the upcoming Gallery 1988 show; 3G. This time around is Ghostbusters! I think my favorite part are the cards that you can cut out of the side to test your ESP abilities just like the real Dr. Venkman! The show will be opening at Gallery 1988 in LA on Friday, September 3rd from 7 -10pm. The show will be up from Sept. 3rd through Sept. 22nd. There will be all different kinds of pieces for sale there as well so if you are in the area stop by, it should be hoot! The gallery will be selling my pieces directly again and here is some info on that:

I submitted a design to Threadless T-Shirts today and some of you might have gotten an email about it.
My design was officially approved by Threadless so it's up for voting for 7 days now! Please go vote for me so I can be the happiest boy alive! Also, you have to sign up for an account to cast your vote, but you'll do it cause you love me!
So please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please vote for me! I will be eternally greatful! Below is a link to the (pending) t-shirt design so go take a look!
The 1st of 3 new pieces I have done for what I have dubbed the 3G Show. This show will be held at Gallery 1988 in LA and has work from friends like Dave Perillo, Tom Whalen and Scott Derby. The theme of the show is basically the tri-fecta of awesome 80's movies; The Goonies, Ghostbusters & Gremlins. The only 'rule' for the show was to create 3 separate pieces for each of the 3 movies. I decided to create retro faux cereal boxes for each of the 3 movies, (And yes, I am aware that all 3 of these movies had fun breakfast cereal tie-ins already, some with multiple ones... I'm looking at you Ghosbusters...) each with there own spin on it. One new technique I tried on all of them was photographing real cereal and then photoshopping them onto the boxes 'cause i thought that would be cool. Can anyone guess what I used for this cereal? I'll give you a hint... it's 2 different cereals. Give up!? I used Fruity Pebbles and Count Chocula marshmallows (photoshopped gold to look like doubloons). This was also awesome because I love cereal so it gave me an excuse to buy more then just my normal 1 box per food shopping trip! Each of these pieces will be available for purchase once the show opens on September 3rd at the actual gallery in LA or through their website. There will be 2 versions of each of the 3 pieces. There will be a (2) 12" x 12" signed giclee stretched canvas prints of each piece for 100 beans as well at (15) 12" x 12" signed giclee watercolor paper prints for 50 beans. I will post the other 2 pieces later on to keep the suspense rolling...
